WWE legend Joseph Laurinaitis also known as ‘Road Warrior Animal’ died Tuesday night of natural causes. The news was confirmed via the wrestler’s official Twitter page.

Joseph passed away at Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach, MO. His wife called the police around 11:49 PM. When emergency personnel arrived the wrestler was pronounced dead on the scene.
Joseph and his wife were celebrating their wedding anniversary on the night that he died.

Joseph is considered one of the best in-ring performers of all-time. He wrestled for most of his WWE career with Road Warrior Hawk (who died from a heart attack in 2003) and won multiple tag team championships as The Road Warriors/Legion of Doom. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
