According to CNN News, President Trump said on Wednesday that he would not commit to providing a peaceful transition of power after Election Day if he did not win the presidential election for another 4-year term. When questioned about a peaceful transition, Trump said,
Well, we’re going to have to see what happens.
His reluctance to commit to a peaceful transition was due to his concerns about mail-in ballots. His thought is that mail-in voting is not to be trusted, and there would be voter fraud that would occur.
His current Democratic challenger, Former Vice President Joe Biden, was asked about Trump’s comment Wednesday night. Biden said,
What country are we in? I’m being facetious. Look, he says the most irrational things. I don’t know what to say about it. But it doesn’t surprise me.
President Trump has been tweeting and speaking out about the practice against mail-in voting this November. More states are going this route of mail-in voting to keep voters safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history. It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote???

Trump went on to say,
You’ll have a very peaceful — there won’t be a transfer frankly There’ll be a continuation. The ballots are out of control, you know it, and you know, who knows it better than anybody else? The Democrats know it better than anybody else.
In addition to the comments made by former Vice President Biden, The Biden campaign also said,
The American people will decide this election. And the United States government is perfectly capable of escorting trespassers out of the White House.
