She shut down the rumor that she had dropped charges against Tory. There is actually another hearing scheduled for February 25th.

The Shaderoom is reporting that an attorney for Tory Lanez filed a motion to modify the terms of the protection order that was placed against him in the Megan Thee Stallion case so that he can publicly discuss new evidence that supports his innocence, his team says.

Tory wants to publicly defend himself after Megan said that he was her abuser and that he was going to jail. As a part of the protection order, Tory is not allowed to publicly address Megan by name on social media or have any contact with her.

“In light of (Megan’s) recent tweets and the public attention to this matter, Mr. Peterson asks that this Court modify the protective order as it relates to him, his counsel, and/or his representatives,” a rep for Tory said.

According to TSR, Tory’s rep said the prosecutors in the case provided Tory’s attorney with evidence and eyewitness testimony, which “directly contradict the statements” of Megan. One of those pieces of evidence is gunshot residue. There has been a mystery surrounding the fact of rather or not Tory had GSR on his hands.

Tory’s attorney says there’s gunshot residue “implicating others” but due to the protection order that was filed against Tory back in November 2020, he cannot publicly discuss the evidence. They feel it’s unfair that Megan can say what she wants on social media about him with no repercussions from the court.

“The inflammatory information transmitted in Megan P’s tweets was quickly picked up by mainstream media publications. Due to the limitations placed on Mr. Peterson and his counsel under the protective order, Mr. Peterson has been unable to respond to Megan P’s inflammatory statements to provide his own clarifying statements,” his rep said.

Tory has pleaded not guilty and maintains his innocence in the felony assault case against him. He is being accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in July 2020 in the Hollywood Hills following a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s house.

Although his next hearing is scheduled for February 25th, there may be an emergency hearing much sooner to discuss the issues with the order.
