Megan Thee Stallion achieves her first Hot 100 top 10 entry as “Savage surges all the way from #14 to #4 following the April 29th release of its remix with Beyonce’ (a day before the streaming and sales chart tracking week ended).
Direct quote from Billboard: “Beyonce’ is not credited on the Hot 100 as a featured artist on “Savage” as the total chart points for its remix did not outweigh those of the original in the tracking week; artist credit will be re-evaluated next week following a first full tracking week for the remix.”
Meg almost achieved her first top 10 hit back in August 2019 with “Hot Girl Summer”. That song, featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign, came in at #11. Still, an achievement nonetheless!
“Savage Remix” featuring Beyonce’, a native of Houston herself, could very much reach #1 next week on Billboard’s Hot 100. I will be doing my part in helping the song reach #1 by streaming on Spotify. LET’S GET MEG TO NUMBER 1!
