As we previously reported, the NBA season is set to resume their 2019-2020 season in July. The season will be held at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida as a single site for an NBA campus for games, practices, and housing. The housing for each team was provided via Twitter.

Our priority continues to be the health and safety of all involved, and we are working with public health experts and government officials on a comprehensive set of guidelines to ensure that appropriate medical protocols and protections are in place.- NBA Chief Communications Officer Mike Bass.

In order to participate in the season and live in the housing, public health professionals advised that all players receive COVID-19 testing. The NBA tweeted that out of 302 NBA players tested on June 23, 16 players tested positive for the coronavirus.

Players who did test positive has to remain self quarantined until public health protocols have been met, and have been cleared by a physician.

The NBA also released the NBA playoff format.
