Video surveillance was turned in showing an image of Natalie White. In the video footage released from the body cam, Brooks reveals that White is his girlfriend.
You know, Natalie White, she’s my girlfriend, she left, baby i’ll get Wendy’s and then ill go back to work
Brooks was heard on camera explaining that Natalie was his girlfriend and that’s who he was with. Brooks explained a lot of things on camera that night, so it is still not clear of the relationship between him and White.
Tomika Miller, is the widow of Brooks, and she told the media that she should have never let him leave. A lot of people in Atlanta felt heartbroken for Tomika and her family. They chipped in to get her some nice things. She received a new car, life insurance for her 3 kids and Clark Atlanta University offered her children full rides.
There are many things that are still unclear about the night Rayshard Brooks was shot to death by Atlanta police, however, there is one thing his widow wants to know from the officers that killed Brooks.
Do they feel sorry for what they took away? If they had the chance to do it again, would they do it the same way or would they do it totally different?
Brooks, alleges that White dropped him off at the Wendy’s and then he got in his car to go through the drive-thru before falling to sleep. The police were called to the Wendy’s on 125 University Ave. Once the police arrived Officers Garrett Rolfe and Devin Brosnan performed a field sobriety test on Brooks. He blew a 0.10%, the legal limit is 0.08.
After the sobriety test, the officers spent time talking with Brooks before attempting to arrest him. After a struggle, Brooks was shot and killed by Officer Rolfe. Rolfe was charged with 11 different charges including felony murder.
Sgt Cortez Stafford told CNN, that there may be more suspects involved in the fire. There has been a $10,000 reward offered from the State Arson Control Board for information leading to the arrest of Natalie White.
