Alika Crew, 41, of Westchester County, is an orthodontist working in a dental office in Stamford with Stein Medical Group, who was charged with attempted murder on Tuesday, July 28. She allegedly stabbed her former fiancé’s current girlfriend in the neck.
New Rochelle Police Officers were dispatched to the scene of Hilliandale Drive on July 28 for a medical emergency. Officers found the victim with a deep puncture wound on the left side of her neck.

Crew was on the scene providing medical aid. She claimed that she was coming to the victim’s assistance. The victim identified Crew as the assailant. Police said that she hid in the victim’s vehicle for over an hour and assaulted the victim with a sharp object that is presumed to be a box cutter.
Crew is charged with attempted murder and is being held at Westchester County Jail. Her bail is set at $250,000 bail. It was discovered that the victim is her former ex-fiancé’s girlfriend. The victim an exfiancé have not been currently identified.
Crew received her degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Her post-doctoral dental education with a residency in orthodontics was at Case Western Reserve University
