Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s son Adam Abdul-Jabbar was charged with multiple felonies after a dispute turned violent between him and his neighbor in San Clemente.
The 28-year-old was reportedly charged with three felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one felony count of carrying a dirk or dagger, and three enhancements of inflicting great bodily injury.
Adam Abdul-Jabar was accused of stabbing his neighbor, Ray Winsor, multiple times. Officers were called to the scene around 10 pm on June 9th. Winsor was able to take himself to the hospital with multiple “non-threatening” injuries, according to reports.
However, according to new reports, the injuries were allegedly much more serious. According to the DA’s office, Winsor suffered a fractured skull and almost died from blood loss.
With new details emerging we can get an idea of what happened during the altercation. According to reports, Winsor confronted Adam Abdul-Jabar, questioning him about not taking in the trash cans for his elderly roommate. The confrontation escalated and resulted in the stabbing.
