Former NFL QB Tarvaris Jackson died Sunday night in a car accident in Alabama. The 2nd Round 64th overall pick from the 2006 NFL draft played 9 seasons in the NFL.
After the NFL, he left to become a QB coach at Alabama St (the college he attended ) and Tennessee st (where he was working currently). He played with 4 different NFL teams winning a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks in 2014.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, it was a single-car crash that happened around 8:50 pm. He was in his 2012 Chevrolet Camero when he ran off the road and struck a tree, causing the car to overturn. He was taken to the hospital where he later died. Tarvaris was 36. Our Prayers and thoughts go out to the Jackson Family.
