Dana White has secured a deal to host UFC fights on a private island, where he would fly in fighters on private planes. The UFC boss talks about how he’s focused on keeping the business alive during the COVID-19 pandemic, starting with UFC 249 on April 18. The fight will be headlined by Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje and consist of 12 fights overall. White goes on to say the location for that event is still a secret even though he’s locked up the mystery venue where it will take place for 2 months and plans on pumping out fights every week.
Additionally, White said he has started work on an undisclosed island, where he could conceivably book fights for international athletes who can’t come into the U.S.
“So when we do this fight April 18, international and in the United States, we’re going to start cranking. The UFC will be back up and running, internationally and here in the States.”
