As we reported earlier, Cardi B has filed for divorce from husband Offset. The divorce is contested, which simply means that one or both parties cant come to an agreement about one or many issues involving the divorce.
As a part of the legal documents filed by Cardi B’s lawyer, the lawyer asked for legal custody and primary physical custody of 2-year-old Kulture.
Sources close to Cardi B told TMZ directly that, Cardi B did not know the lawyer would present the case in that way. Cardi B actually wants Offset to have joint custody.
The lawyer also stated in the documents that Cardi B was seeking child support. Cardi B does not want any money from Offset.
Cardi B wants to remain a healthy co-parenting relationship and wants the divorce to be friendly.
