An 8-year-old girl in Texas died after being forced to jump on a trampoline in extreme heat for a long period of time. The ground temperature on the day of her death was 150 degrees and the trampoline was 110 degrees.
Jaylin was found dead at her home in Odessa on August 29. Her guardians Daniel Schwarz,44, and Ashley Schwarz, 34, were both charged with capital murder. On October 8th, a coroner officially ruled Jaylin’s cause of death homicide by dehydration.
According to OPD spokesperson Cpl Steve LeSuer, the guardians were not her biological parents and he wasn’t able to confirm if she was in foster care.
According to the Odessa Police Department, she was denied water and wasn’t allowed to eat breakfast. They ordered her to jump on the trampoline without stopping as a punishment.
There is a special place in hell for people that harm children. Rest in peace Jaylin.
